So a couple of weeks ago we were taking a walk with the kids when Kea says, "Mom, where do you want us to go to college?"
Me: Well, I'd like you to go to an Ivy League school if you can. I don't even care if you don't go to my school, but I think it would be nice if you could get into a good school like that or maybe Stanford or something.
Kea: Phew! I'm so glad you didn't say Stevens Henegar College.
Maile: Seriously. Those commercials are so annoying.
Sorry, Stevens Henegar, but apparently my children will not be attending your school. On the other hand, the commercials for Eagle Gate College have Maile so enraptured that she is convinced it's the school for her. So I send a plea to the Ivy League: Can you please start airing "cool" commercials where we live?
