My Own Frankenstein

For showcase Friday, I give you news about my brother Todd.  He, along with four to six thousand other people, entered a screenwriting contest. 

Yesterday, the awards were announced.  Check out the Action category. 

Yep, he got first place, which means some major production companies will be looking and hopefully optioning the script.  So congrats to him.  I'm really proud of him, and I'm also a little proud of me.  Because I helped edit the script.

So when I'm famous, you can say, I knew her back when . . . she wasn't famous.

In other news, Matt Kirby's signing last night was great. 

He did a fabulous job, and you all should go buy his book The Clockwork Three if you haven't already.

And finally, the last announcement is that by the end of the day, I will have finished my second book.  The working title is The Rotten Ones.  Right now it's kind of like Frankenstein with bits and pieces just thrown together, attached by duct tape and a glue gun.  But it's a draft.
