Passing Out

I meant to blog on Monday, but then the kids got sick, and then I completely forgot about it.  Unfortunately I've been forgetting to blog quite a bit lately, and when I remember, it's the end of the day, so I say I'll do it another day....and the cycle continues.

Anyway, I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to blog about, so I asked Maile her thoughts on the matter.

Maile: Blog about how I passed out in your room last night.
Me: You never did that.
Maile: Yeah, I did.  It was when you were telling me to go to bed, and then I passed out and fell on the floor.
Me: I think I would have noticed if that had happened.
Maile: It happened right after I shouted, "You'll never catch me alive!"

In other news, I went to the SCBWI conference last Saturday and had a critique with an editor from Random House.  This was for my latest book, The Rotten Ones, which is actually a book that I'm collaborating on with a friend.  The editor loved it and wants to see the rest, which means I'm going to be buried in revisions from now until the end of the year. I guess I should also clarify that because I am collaborating, I am willing to try to get this book published.  After that though, I'm going back to my I-don't-want-to-get-published self.
