Soooo . . . time has a way of moving too quickly. I feel like I was barely around for January, which included trips to LA and Washington, D.C. It was a little crazy, and hopefully I'll get around to posting pictures later.
Anyway, as usual Maile has been finding ways to embarrass me. So the other day we were visiting her agency in Utah. She had found out that one of the Disney shows was coming to film an episode here.
Maile: I heard that Good Luck Charlie was coming, and I was wondering if you could get me an audition.
Agent: Oh, I'm so sorry! When I heard that it was coming, I was really hoping there would be a part for you to audition for, but the only roles available are for grown-ups.
Maile: Well, did you know that the giant panda begins to mate when it's 6 or 7?
Me: So do you think that because you're 7 that you're a grown-up?
Maile: I'm just sayin' . . .
Me: I'm just glad you're not mating right now.
Yeah, everyone in the office thought it was funny, but I was wishing the floor would swallow me up.
i can only imagine what the world would be like with more mailes! :D
ReplyDeleteGood thing we will never find out.
ReplyDeleteAt least she was mostly referring to her being grown up and not to her wanting to mate. :)
