Back When You Were Easier To Love
If you're in the area tomorrow, come to The King's English because BFF Emily Wing Smith will be doing a signing for her latest book Back When You Were Easier to Love. What's worse than getting dumped? Not even knowing if you've been dumped. Joy got no goodbye, and certainly no explanation when Zan--the love of her life and the only good thing about stifling, backward Haven, Utah--unceremoniously and unexpectedly left for college a year early. Joy needs closure almost as much as she needs Zan, so she heads for California, and Zan, riding shotgun beside Zan's former-best-friend Noah.
(I didn't write that synopsis. I was just lazy and copied it.) But the most important thing you should know is that I have been saving my energy this entire week so that I can make an appearance at this incredible event. And....The SIX aka "The Barely Manilows" is going to be singing a song to the tune of Copacabana. While I can't vouch for the quality of the singing, I can definitely promise it will be entertaining.
